WATCH: The Daisy Chains

It is often easy to forget that youtube is full of people trying to get their material out there, you can be trying to be a singer, or an actor, or a presenter and your work may well be incredible but sadly your work might just be overshadowed by someone else's.

A group I certainly would not like to see this happen to would be The Daisy Chains. The Birmingham based 3 piece girl band are truly something spectacular and I reckon they could give a lot of singers a run for their money. Why is it even when we have the likes of Little Mix and The Saturdays out there, it feels like there is still a massive gap in the market for something else? I believe The Daisy Chains are exactly that.

Kari, Laura and Hannah have their own youtube channel where you can listen to some of their beautiful work, though this is probably my favourite, as their harmonies are just stunning:

I caught up with one of the members of the band, Kari, 21 and asked her to describe themselves to me in no more than three words, she replied: "Fun Fresh Fierce" and do you know what? I couldn't have put it better myself. The girls gel together really nicely, whilst also allowing you to see their own individual sides too and what you get is a strong independent sound that oozes attitude and girl power. What I quite like is that all three of the girls are completely stunning in their own way, the sound is very alluring and almost vulnerable at times, yet step a toe out of line and the attitude would swiftly put you back in your place, which is probably where you belong, in the audience, watching as these three own the stage.

I think we're going to be seeing a lot more of this group and I predict success. Besides, if a girl group can take on a successful One Direction song and make it sound like their own, they've got to have talent right?

WATCH: Diana Vickers Reveals 'Cinderella' Music Video

Diana Vickers has done it, admittedly i've had my doubts about her future success after she faded away from mainstream music for some time. Personally, i'm a huge fan of the singer and always will be, she's great to her fans, she creates some really quirky exciting music and she's also just a bit of a babe!

What's exciting about the new single 'Cinderella' is that the quirky lyrics are easily accessible to a pop music audience and all at the same time that little bit different and original. The video see's Diana meeting her prince, walking around a gorgeous looking house before hiding from security as the pair aren't meant to be wandering around.

I really enjoyed this video, especially the cuts from the story as Diana sings to the camera, she shows off her looooong legs and she looks absolutely stunning in that dress. Diana Vickers new video for Cinderella is just flawless. I think this single has so much potential for at least a top ten spot, i'm actually routing for number one if i'm honest, I think the singer has so much to offer. The single is out July 21st so make sure you pre-order it in iTunes and then buy the album in September.

Watch the video below:

Why is she just so beautiful? It should honestly be a crime! I think Simon Cowell will probably be regretting not signing this girl up to his label, as there's a possibility for worldwide success if the singer just plays her cards right.

X Factor 2013 Judging Panel Officially Announced! She's Back!

The X Factor has officially announced who will be sitting on the judges panel this year and all I can say is whilst i'm excited to see what happens, i'm so very very disappointed too.

The X Factor's official website posted the following message: "Rock royalty Sharon Osbourne makes a triumphant return to the show, joining Take That superstar Gary Barlow, US pop star Nicole Scherzinger and Svengali manager Louis Walsh in the search for the nation’s next big singing sensation."

Apparently Simon Cowell has said: "Three words I never thought I'd say.... Welcome back Sharon!"

So it's now confirmed that Gary Borelow will return - my question is why?
Gary doesn't bring anything new to the panel, his try hard approach to being the new Mr.Nasty like Simon Cowell, is getting boring, it doesn't work. He tries too hard. Gary in fact walked off and kicked off like a child a number of times since he's started on The X Factor and if i'm honest I don't think he enjoys his time on the show so why does he bother doing it?

Louis Walsh - he was always bound to be back and he has just become a bit of a novelty joke judge rather than anyone taking him seriously. He just doesn't seem to have any relevance whatsoever.

Nicole Scherzinger - OK Nicole actually was incredibly entertaining last year, at LEAST Nicole managed to get two acts into the final, fairplay to her. She's a strong judge and singer, however surely 'Boomerang' is proof enough that the singer needs to re-think her attempt at a solo career. Don't get me wrong, i'm not hatin! I feel that Nicole is a fantastic singer and popstar, she just needs to re think her latest attempt at music.

Finally, the returning judge Sharon Osbourne. Now, Sharon was a judge from 2004 - 2007. Fairplay. Sharon was also the judge with over 30 years experience in managing bands and she is the straight talking no nonsense judge, I AM excited to see what Sharon does as a judge on the show, however, I was expecting a MUCH bigger announcement. On her return she has said: "I couldn’t be happier about coming back for the 10th anniversary of X Factor. I can’t wait to give Gary Barlow a big hug, sit next to the gorgeous Nicole, and of course throw water on dear Louis. Yay!"

I'm dissapointed. This years X Factor has promised to be massive and different and exciting and is said to have major format changes, yet its gone back to having the same judges as before? It doesn't all make sense. I'm hoping once it kicks off I'm going to be sat here eating my own words, but what the show needs is the injection if something different and new. Maybe creating a new catagory for a fifth judge, like the comeback kids. Come on, how many people re-audition and get through to judges houses for the second or third time before being knocked back - which I also know is happening this year, comebacks I mean. What about the likes of Cheryl Cole - Her years on the show proved to be the most successful and popular, maybe they should think about getting her back and offering her the money she deserves to take to SAVE the show. Oh and do I really need to mention Simon Cowell? Simon is needed for this show to work and I really do hope he returns if there is an eleventh series.

What about some youth? Demi Lovato is one of the most popular judges on the US version of the show, maybe Selena Gomez? Or One of One Direction? Someone EXCITING and different.

But good luck guys!

Selena Gomez Looks Stunning Performing 'Come & Get It' At Billboard Awards

Now, I am indeed a major fan of Selena Gomez as an actress, a dancer and a singer. Selena has delivered some fab music in the past and I don't think 'Come And Get It' is an exception to any of her fab music, however! I do believe that she seems to have a lot less stage presence at the moment, which is odd, as this should be her biggest album yet!

The star isn't the most incredible singer out there, lets be honest here she isn't Adele is she? But she IS usually talented enough to sing live and do it well! So I have to say, whilst the singer looked incredible during her performance at the Billboard Awards, and she didn't put a toe out of line during the dance, the singing wasn't as great as I know it can be! For me that was my only disappointment! Take a look for yourself:

PHOTOS: One Direction Get Three, Taylor Swift Leaves With Eight And Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber Reconcile? The Stars Of The Billboard Awards

It's worth having a look at some of the outfits from the Billboard Awards this year, as some are just fab and others need help, lots and lots of help - stylist's please?!

One direction won three awards at the event, although they weren't there to pick up the awards: 'Top New Artist' 'Top Group' 'Top Pop Artist'

Taylor Swift walked away with a stunning eight gongs from the night! Most definitely the star of the night, she looked incredible in a Zuhair Murad electirc blue mini:

Taylor swift also switched her outfits half way through the night as she opted for a cute unicorn tee and high waisted shorts to perform newest single '22'

There have also been rumours of a Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber reconciliaton, as the stars have apparently been rumoured to be making lots of PDA back stage. The stars kept their distance in front of cameras and even chose to sit apart, however, they did choose to cheer each other on at the awards as they both performed their songs.

Selena Gomez looked stunning opting for neon and white.

Anyway, take a look for yourself!

New X Factor USA Judge Kelly Rowland didn't fail to impress.

 J.Lo proving she's still got it !

Ke$ha looked fantastic on the Blue Carpet.

Ed Sheeran continues to be boring choosing to go casual in Jeans and a jumper.

Miley Cyrus chose to cover up in crochet and sequins - as lovely as this is, i'd like to see something more exciting on Miley.

And well, Madonna didn't cover up enough, this is just wrong and does not work - that's all i'll say on the matter.

PHOTO: First Look At X Factor USA Judges Together

The first image of the X Factor USA judges sitting on the panel has been posted to the X Factor twitter account.

Simon Cowell is sat with former X Factor UK judge Kelly Rowland and newcomer Paulina Rubio - Demi Lovato is also back on the panel.

L.A Reid and Britney Spears have not returned this year and so these are their respective replacements.

Why is Demi not sat next to Simon? Is Kelly being all demanding already?

Tulisa Not Returning To X Factor But Insists She Is Taking Second Album 'Back To Basics'

Tulisa Contostavlos has announced via her personal twitter account that she will not be returning to her seat on the judging panel for this year's X Factor. So this probably means that two names from the rumoured Sharon Osbourne/Nicole Scherzinger/Mel B list have signed on the dotted lines of their contracts.

The singer posted: "Just wanted to let you all know that I won't be part of the X Factor panel this year. I've had a great time on the show, but this year it's time to do something different. I'd like to thank everyone on The X Factor for two amazing years. Stay tuned as I have a very exciting announcement soon!"

Whilst her second year as a judge on the show didn't go down all that well with viewers due to reasons such as being 'moody' it should be noted that Tulisa had a fantastic first year. When it was announced that the N-Dubz star would be replacing Cheryl Cole as a judge on the show many people weren't happy, but the singer very quickly changed people's minds as she proved herself to be charismatic and likeable. Especially when she cried during auditions rounds and people realised that she too does have a heart. Tulisa actually took the girl group 'Little Mix' all the way to the finals during her first year as a judge in 2011, oh, and she won.

I personally feel that Tulisa's studio album 'The Female Boss' deserves a second chance and actually feel that the only reason the album didn't chart any higher than an appalling 35 is because of her tabloid prominence.

If 'that' video hadn't surfaced online and the singer were actually given a chance by the public, songs like 'Live Your Life', 'Kill Me Tonight' and 'Steal My Breath Away' might have found their way on to many of your iPod's and you'd probably be telling all your mates to give 'em a listen too.

Tulisa's first single 'Young' saw commercial success, as the single went straight to number one.

Tulisa is aware the sound of her debut solo single 'Young' was popular: "My first single 'Young' got to number one, and that's because it was a very UK-sounding track - and I realise now that's what the fans want."

Anyway, as Tulisa's first album didn't quite see the success that she had hoped for, the singer has insisted that she will be going back to basics in order to give fans the music that they want to hear.

"I'm going to make a few singles soon, and I want to take my sound back to basics. I want to just make songs that I really love from now on."

Tulisa's second single was considered an interesting type of genre by critics and they weren't sure the sound worked (again, I personally really enjoyed it)

The singer also explained how she has had offers to work with bigger names in order to make her second studio album more successful than the first, but has turned them down in order to make music she loves: "I've been offered the opportunity to go back to the US and work with massive producers, but I said no as I want to be more urban. I've been saying to ground-level UK writers, 'Send me beats.'"

Maybe what she needs is to lend her vocals to someone else's single to help earn back credibility? Well, it doesn't look like that'll be happening any time soon: "And I won't guest on anyone else's records for the foreseeable future. I want to conjure up my own hits first."

Ah, I know, maybe an N-Dubz reunion could boost her career! Is that going to happen though? Nope! The singer explained: "I do miss them on tour, and doing my own album made me appreciate them more. I'm very aware on stage that they're not turning up to save me, so it's down to me to rock it up on my own." and added"N-Dubz is my comfort zone, but we need this couple of years apart to get our solo albums out of our system."

WATCH: 'Clarity' performed on Glee - Who Did It Better?

Now that the season finale of Glee season 4 has aired and we've seen the New Directions win a big trophy that will take them forward to the next stage of the competitions they always seem to be in, I want to take a look at one of the covers which was performed by Jessica Sanchez, a star from American Idol.

I think there is something about the way that Sanchez just flits around the stage like a fairy but with so much power in her voice and attitude that makes me prefer hers.

Jessica Sanchez is only 17!

Clarity is a single from Zedd feat Foxes, I want you to decide who was better, the cover, or the original?

Diana Vickers & Matt Edmondson Give 'Cinderella' A Spin On BBC Radio One

Diana Vickers who is set to be making an astronomical comeback to music this year joined the radio one host today to talk about her new single, album and everything in between.

Diana Vickers previous album 'Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree' went straight to number one, as did her debut single 'Once' and now she is set to return with a new pop album sure to do the same again, I have massively high expectations for this album as i've followed its creation. The singer did a few tours to showcase new material performing in Manchester and London a couple of times to test the tracks out and even joined Olly Murs on his tour to support too.

The new single is called 'Cinderella' and is real pop magic, you can listen to 'Cinderella' here:

Diana is currently filming her new show 'Give Out Girls' for Sky Living TV at the moment, she is currently spending the month filming in Manchester, Diana said she plays Gemma who 'is dead ditzy' she has also previously filmed for a film 'The Perfect Wave' which was shot in South Africa, about a surfer, staring Clint Eastwood's son.

The singer confirmed her new album will be out in September and is titled 'Music To Make Boys Cry' and the lead single 'Cinderella' is released on the 21st July. The song sounds a lot more mature and grown up than the last album but still holds that quirky and energetic sound.

Radio One then played the single - this is fantastic news for Vickers as the singer did somewhat fade from the spotlight a little and her last song 'My Wicked Heart' didn't do as well as hoped. Having Radio One play the single means a LOT of listeners, new fans, old fans etc will be able to enjoy the incredible new material from the songstress.

During a question and answer round the singer was asked:
Are there are plans for a tour?
In the summer i'm supporting Olly Murs and doing festivals, maybe a tour when the album's out that would be fabulous.

What can we expect to see in the cinderella video?
You'll have to wait and see. It's quite romantic, its quite Romeo & Juliet themed.

Describe your fans in three words?
loyal, highlight of my life, the <- LOL

Is Hilary Duff Replacing Britney Spears & Joining Demi Lovato On The X Factor USA?

Is Hilary Duff going to be joining the USA X Factor as a judge? The former Disney star has hinted at it!

Can it work? Two Disney stars from two different Disney Eras?

Hilary gave birth to her first son Luca last year and has spent most of her time since then out of the spotlight, however it looks like the star may be rebuilding her career in the biggest of ways, joining a huge show, with huge talent, and huge celebrities - well how else was she going to do it?

The singer kickstarted her career as an actress on the Disney channel playing Lizzie McGuire, she then started pursuing a singing career which was pretty successful, and even wrote a novel, 'Elixir' which has been incredibly popular. Have a look at one of her music videos:

The MailOnline quoted Hilary saying "I’m making some new music and reading scripts. But it’s tough to commit – now that I’m a mom, whatever I work on has to really be worth it!"

Is Hilary just staying coy to make the announcement all exciting and fantastic or is she actually nothing to do with the X Factor whatsoever? And where have I even got any of this do I hear you ask? Is it a load of rubbish? Well, current X Factor judge Demi Lovato recently decided to share some twitter lovin' and follow the Singer/Actress/Writer:

But of course, there is more.
The singer also decided to RANDOMLY tweet the letter X on May 15th.
All this anticipation for the big reveal is too exciting for any person to actually cope, and bloggers, journalists and writers everywhere have possibly gone mad with anticipation and COULD just be making something out of nothing - OR we're all on to something. You decide.

Luckily for us all, the X Factor USA judges are expected to be revealed tomorrow - which is good, because i'm not sure I can cope much longer. It's looking like it'll be Kelly Rowland and Hilary Duff joining Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell. How exciting.

Cheryl Cole Is Breathtaking On Red Carpet At Cannes Film Festival

Cheryl Cole who has reportedly decided to take some time off from her showbiz lifestyle has stepped out onto the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival and the 'Call My Name' singer looks absolutely stunning. Cheryl spent most of her day in interviews talking about L'Oreal in a hotel room.

The ex Girls Aloud star certainly caught everybodies eye as she stepped out onto the red carpet at the premier of Jimmy P. (Psychotherapy Of A Plains Indian). Cheryl wore a beautiful maroon Zuhair Murad creation as she joined many A-listers on the carpet including Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Lawrence, Benicio Del Toro and Eva Longoria. The star tweeted during her day of press interviews: "Talking about L'Oreal all day.. and they call this a job?? I'm a lucky girl!!"

Longoria then took to her official twitter account to post the following: @EvaLongoria: Me and my twin sister @cherylcole at Cannes!"

Cheryl's floor length gown features a sheer overskirt with sequinned embroidery, with a low cut back and the singer chose not to over do it with any jewellery, creating the perfect look.

The star looked flawless on the Red Carpet.

Cheryl posed for the world's press...and they seemed to have absolutely loved it. The singer wore her hair in a backcombed loose ponytail, the singers tresses have also become noticeably lighter and the mid lengths and ends are even quite Blonde now.

Cheryl has been a regular attendee of Cannes Film Festival ever since signing her first deal with L'Oreal back in 2009, the original deal was a rumoured £500,000. Cheryl's last appearance at Cannes saw her wearing a stunning white and red feathered gown at the premier of Amour.

Cheryl walked in to the premier to enjoy the evening.

LISTEN: Diana Vickers Covers La La La & Does It Better

A cover by Diana Vickers has appeared on the stars official youtube account. This time around Vickers is performing an acoustic version of the Naughty Boy and Sam Smith's new single 'La La La'.

So far the official single is receiving praise on youtube and strong reviews from critics online so it will be interesting to see how people respond to Diana's version.

What I really like about this version is Diana's control with her notes and how she doesn't over do it. Being such a different singer to Sam Smith, she has taken the song and made it her own, it's also quite a believable performance and the songstress looks gorgeous in the video.
Diana recently uploaded an acoustic version of her new single 'Cinderella' on to her official youtube channel aswell, which is also worth checking out. but for now check out her version of 'La La La' below:

GORGEOUS Photo Of Christina Aguilera Surfaces

A gorgeous photo of Christina Aguilera has surfaced online - the photograph shows the singer looking out onto the beach.

Christina Aguilera often comes user fire for her fluctuating weight and changing figure, however the singer looks incredibly sexy and curvy in the photograph.

Christina has been confirmed as returning to the US version of 'The Voice' after Shakira plans to leave to focus on looking after her son.

WATCH: Cara Delevingne & Rita Ora Promise To Make Your FACEMELT

Rita Ora has teamed up with Hunger Magazine to create something truely quite special for her fans. Thats right, Rita and Cara - Rara? Carita? Whatever! Anyway, the pair have teamed up to film a wonderful, fun and playful video for one of the songs on Rita's album.

BFF's have made a special video for 'Facemelt'

'Facemelt' has been extended from that track that fades off halfway through the song before it had a chance to end (circa Rihanna Birthday Cake anyone?) and Hunger TV filmed the video and gave us something truely quite magical, you can watch two different versions of the video, the first features both Rita and Cara and the second is just Rita on her own, so lets be honest here, it's easy to say I prefer the first, which features the BFF's running around being all sexy and what not.

The video of Rita alone is also here:

LISTEN: Demi Lovato Struggles To Explain How She Feels In 'I Hate You, Don't Leave Me'

Demi Lovato's new studio album titled DEMI has been released in the USA now and soon UK fans of the X Factor Judge will be able to get their hands on a copy of the album too. As part of a deal fans will exclusively get their hands on a bonus track when the album is brought from Target.

The song i'm talking about is titled I Hate You, Don't Leave Me. This single is quite honestly so raw and so beautiful that I think it should have just been part of the full album and not an exclusive to Target. Demi talks us through her struggle as she finds it hard to love someone who she hates but can't let go of, as she feels suffocated by her love but doesn't want to give herself to this person.

The single is a beautiful guitar ballad that shows a lot of restraint and control with the singer's vocals. It isn't quite as epic as 'Nightingale' or 'Skyscraper' however is still incredibly moving and powerful. Lovato sings with passion and the song really hits home, its an incredibly raw song, give it a listen:

Are Danity Kane Reforming? Aubrey O'Day Teases 'I Got A Proposition If You Want It'

Group reformation seems to be the 'in' thing right now, with TV shows like The Big Reunion over here in the UK it seems like every man and his dog is back like a blast from the past to try and remind the world why they were in the limelight in the first place. I don't personally believe every act from the past needed to come back, however, Danity Kane are most definitely an exception to this.

Danity Kane were formed in 2005 during the third series of MTV show 'Making The Band' and consisted of members  Aubrey O'DayWanita "D. Woods" WoodgettShannon BexDawn Richard, Aundrea Fimbres. Their debut self titled album was released in 2006 and sold over a million copies. 'Showstopper' earned a place in the top 10 and the ballad 'Ride For You' also saw success. Their second studio album, 'Welcome To The Dollhouse' was released on March 18th in 2008, and following the release of their second top 10 single 'Damaged' the girl band became the first female group in Billboard history to debut their first two albums at the top of the charts.

Sadly, the group disbanded in 2009...until now! There are hundreds of rumours swirling around the internet at the moment speculating that the group are reforming after a meeting, and Aubrey O'Day has fuelled the fire as she posted this photo on her official instagram and twitter account whilst posting lyrics from one of their singles 'strip tease':

As you can see in the photograph posted, the only member missing from the band is D.Woods. The group met up for lunch in LA to discuss reforming and have also discussed getting new management.

Watch the video for their single 'Showstopper' below:

LISTEN: The Saturdays Do Some Name Dropping In Gentleman

The Saturdays new single 'Gentleman' features a list of famous names including Ryan Gosling, Robert Pattinson, President Obama, Jonas Brothers, Channing Tatum, Drake, Ludacris and even Kanye West and Lamar Odom's names are featured on the single. The single is due for release on the 30th June and you can actually pre order this single here

The official single artwork features the beautiful ladies dressed up in suits, very original. Has anyone else noticed how they're magically all the same height? again? The Saturdays do enjoy growing and shrinking for their artwork:
